Never Again plz GOD

Today, Mumbai witnessed the same plight as London did about the same time last year.

Series of blasts, many bodies of civilians scattered in the pool of blood, hundreds of innocent people hurt, thousands of near & dear ones across the world worried, analysts debating on who were responsible, Leaders from every country condemning it, a few days of mourning…

Nothing changed. Neither has my prayer. Let’s hope my prayers are answered atleast this time. I sincerely hope!

Arun,

I guess ur point is, if people fight using non-violence, they are not being given due importance and that's why some people express their thots using violent means. Well, I agree that an individual has every right to chose his/her method of "fighting" for whatever they want, violence or non-violence. But I also strongly believe that whatever their means of fighting be, they have no RIGHT to harm an innocent person. 185 lives were lost yesterday...but 1 question remains...FOR WHAT?? There are so many organizations fighting worldwide to stop giving death sentences to people who have committed murder. When people who have actually committed a crime are treated with generosity, what have these 185 people done to face such a pitiful death? I am just wondering if the people who committed this crime know the answer for this question.

I know you are not justifying their action and these questions are not directed to you. It is just an outburst of my thots. And I'll definitely try to find more abt the woman you mentioned. Thanks for the info!

Arun,

You completely got me wrong. I still say a person has the right to choose his way. Gandhiji chose non-violence, but Bhagat Singh chose violence. That doesn't mean that only Ganghiji fought for freedom. Bhagat Singh indeed fight for the same cause. But Bhagat Singh did not go after every Britisher in sight. He harmed only those people who brutally killed innocent Indians. And I am not against that. But I am against killing innocent people. I don't know how u missed that word "innocent" when you quoted what I said. My point is, the 185 people who lost their lives yesterday DO NOT deserve to die that way. They are not criminals, they are not corrupt politicians, they are not one of those dumb people who fight based on religion. Why shud they be the targets? Again, I am not rooting for violence here. Don't get me wrong. Non-violence is definitely the BEST option. If e'vbody chooses that, then we won't be having this discussion at all.

It is an atrocious act Preethi. The last time a bomb went off in a local train in Mumbai was when i was there 2 years back in my suburb Mulund, when the Ladies compartment of a train blew up as it entered the Mulund station. Horrific and most cowardly.
